Hi guys,

Recently I picked up an Evolution 6 GSR in Scotia white from auction in Japan. Figured I should make a thread to document everything I do to it, also thought it would be cool to show members that are from the USA about the earlier Evos as you guys haven't got these yet. Between my dad and I we have owned most of the 90s Group A rally/track cars. Lancia Delta Integrale, Celica ST205, Evo CP9A, Evo CN9A, Pulsar GTIR. Aswell as a few circuit Group A cars; BNR32, BCNR33, E30 M3 etc. We also have lots of experience with Evos as we run an import workshop/parts dealer. We've been in the Evo scene right from the beginning when they were legal.

although my car is a few weeks out from landing, I got some OEM goodies ordered to hopefully be here soon.

F+R Brake rotors/pads\




Aswell as a few used parts

USED PARTS SOURCED:
Evo 6 Factory OZ wheels
Evo 4 factory steering wheel, same as 6 but black stitching instead of blue.


Once the arrives I will be selling these Advan ZR10 wheelset in 18". Although I have the stockers to replace them with, I'm not sure when they will be back from being refinished. Glad I'll be able to borrow my dad's Enkei Tarmac Evos till then

 

Although I am still waiting on arrival of the car, hopefully arriving in 4 or so weeks. I figured I'd set aside an OEM ECU because I believe this car has an aftermarket one. got an OEM Evo 6 RS ECU. Much more happy with the idea of running a stock ECU as I know they are quite tunable. I will have to repin my harness though

Finally!

The car shipped from Tokyo on July 29th, and is scheduled to land around August 20th. Before I know it I'll have this thing is my possession. Chomping at the bit to get started on this thing.
