Honda Challenge S2000 for sale - $16k 2nd place '04 & '05

For Sale 2001 Honda S2000 #30 East Coast Honda Challenge - $16,000 as pictured.

- H1 ECHC - 2nd Place overall for 2004 and 2005
- Never a DNF!!!! VERY Reliable
- No track wrecks! Just minor Body rubs on drivers door and front fenders
- 6 wins in 2 years.
- Red w/ black hood and hardtop
- Entire car has less than 10k miles on it.
- New shortblock and valve retainers ~1500 miles ago - installed by James Evans in Baltimore
- Car weighs approx 2410 with minimal fuel.
- Great Track History (see laptimes compared to track records - always on DOT Hoosiers).

  • - 4.77 gears - professionally installed by Ganley Honda
  • - Sparco Evo Rev Seat w/ seat mount

  • - Professionally installed Oil Pressure Guage
  • - Saner adjustable front sway bar - Professionally installed
  • - Apex N1 Exhaust with Test Pipe (no sound limit issues at Beaverun or Summit Point).
  • - Momo steering wheel with Hub adaptor
  • - Professionally installed Adjustable Ball joints to allow over -5.0 camber
  • - Pepboys / ebay wing (but it does seem to work)
  • - Coastal Metals Grill
  • - Coastal Metals Splitter
  • - PRM Intake with cold air through the headlight

I still have the lap record at Summit Point Shenadoah course and have held the record at Summit Main, VIR North and Beaverun at various times in the past 2 years The car just turned a 1:22.8 at summit on 2 weekend old hoosiers.

Pics I took this weekend. $16k gets the car as it sits. I drove it for a while and everything works except it won't go into first gear while the car is rolling.... it generally goes back into 1st gear after the car has been through the gears and the car is stopped (like what I would do for a standing start). it isn't the smoothest into 1st, but i don't think it is worth swapping out the tranny just yet....especially for a track car.

No kidding, if I had the money, I'd buy this for sure... Super deal, and 1st is pointless in an S2k anyway. Have you ever dyno'd it? It might be nice to know how much power it's doing, I realize that's not where S2s' largest strength lies, but I'm sure some people would want to know.

PS: You probably already did Scot, but in case you didn't, make sure you post it on s2ki.com too because it really is a great deal.

my wife is bugging me to get her an s2000 to get to work and tool around in... maybe i should get her this - then take it to summit

I ran 1:22.8 at summit about a month ago in this car on hoosiers.
