AMS 1000 HP Evo For Sale

I'm putting my 2003 Tarmac Black Evolution with approx 10,000 miles up for sale. This car is currently at AMS in Chicago and will be completed within 2 weeks. 900 WHP will be easy to exceed and the 1000WHP mark can be achieved with the nitrous system. I have "Evo burnout" and have begun another project so I've lost interest in this car.

The engine is a 4G64 block destroked to approx 2.2L. It is built to withstand nitrous and very high boost from the GT42r turbo. It is also built to withstand about 10,000 rpms. It has been built entirely by AMS and the setup is very similar (almost identical) to the 988 whp AMS drag car.

The transmission in this car is a 5 speed dog box built by Hollinger with a sequential shifter. The tranny alone cost me $15,000+. This transmission can handle a tremendous amount of power and abuse. It is argueable one of the best trannies on the market today. All gears ratios are custom in order to maximize this cars 1/4 mile performance.

The interior is still intact and the dash has the AIM system installed. It's very clean looking and functional.

The drivetrain is built to handle tremendous power and all components are listed below.

Here's the best part:

These modifications have zero miles on them as the car has not been driven yet. AMS is in the final stages of build and the car will be ready within two weeks. The transmission has about 1,000 miles on it and was used in a previous setup that only made about 600 whp. The engine, clutch, etc., are brand spanking new. The extreior mods are tastefully done and functional. The Volk CE28n wheels have only about 1,000 miles on them.

This car would cost almost $100k to replicate and the build would take months. I'm very realistic about the (lack of) value of modified cars as I've been in this game for a long time. This is easily a low 9 second (maybe high 8 second) car. The tranny gives the driver a substantial advantage over current 900whp competition. As far as I know this is the only Evo in the states with a Hollinger dog box. This is arguebly the most highly modified Evo in the country.

I don't need to sell this car and if it's not bought within the next few weeks I'm going to keep it and race it over the summer. I will take the first offer over $55k. Remember the car only has about 10000 miles on it and the mods are brand new. This is a steal IMO.

I don't have any pictures as the car is with AMS right now. if you're really interested please let me know and I'll ask AMS to send you pictures. I'll do my best to answer any questions. Please don't waste my time if you don't have the neccessary funds. Thanks.

I have a deposit on a 997tt for early fall delivery. My wife will not let me take delivery unless the Evo is gone. It's not a battle worth fighting as she's been very supportive of my car addiction.

Question for you...

What about the twin charge set-up, does come with the car as well?

How hard would it be to get this set-up, up & running?

No, I gave up on that setup months ago. I was tired of being an R&D experiment.

Sorry to hear that you've given up on your project. I have been eagerly anticipating you releasing your beast on the Evo community and it's unfortunate that someone else will get to enjoy the car that you have put so much time, money and effort in to creating.

It has dual fuel rails. It has 8 880cc injectors not 4 880cc injectors as you're probably thinking. This helps prevent driveability and idle issues.

Oh 8 injectors that makes sense. I should of read more carefully. Sounds like a beast but will a twin plate clutch hold all that power?

PS Are you dead set on that price as for now? I know someone who might be interested.
