Today he gets a call that he's "giving" the car to his sister, and it's no longer for sale.
Totally ****ty thing to do Simon. After all the "people will vouch for me" statements, you should have been clear that you weren't intent on selling the car before the waste of gas and time. I know he can't get that back.

My friend drove 4 hours each way from MA to NY and agreed to buy it on Sunday...And was completing all the bank work to get it done so he could pick the car up at the end of the week.
Today he gets a call that he's "giving" the car to his sister, and it's no longer for sale.
Totally ****ty thing to do Simon. After all the "people will vouch for me" statements, you should have been clear that you weren't intent on selling the car before the waste of gas and time. I know he can't get that back.
