FEELER: 03 TB Evo 8 (pa) Clean Great deal

Problems were all address:
Car is now protuned by Vr speed factory zero knock 150$
Has a newer trans from 04 evo 8 850$
Also Had car put back in time. Along with new Headgasket, Crower titanium valve springs and arp head studs. 1,300$
all fluids changed diaqueens
all maintenence is up to date.
Car runs great now. No issues

also "This wasn't a big deal for me when I bought it seeing that everything was done right" if everything was done right why did it need to be tuned, timing belt done, head gasket etc?
is there anything else you have done to the car to fix it? I only ask because im fairly interested in the car
why was none of that mentioned in the original post? I didnt see it state anywhere that there is an 04 evo 8 transmission swap.

As far as new head gasket.
I decided to do titaniums valve springs to help the cams out a bit. Also figured it would be good idea to replace the headgasket and put on some arp's.
Getting a professional to tune your car never hurts either

For the guy selling this evo.. I feel bad you having to deal with all these crazy people asking all of these stupid little questions 04 05 tranny same thing lol. I am selling my srt-4 right now if it would sell I would definately come check this thing out and give you an offer. Bump for you anyways

i don't think its crazy trying to understand what is in a car that you want to buy. you might not care what is swapped into a car you're buying but there are people out there who like to know every detail of what's in the car they want to buy just so there are no surprises. And it's also the fact he did not mention in the original post that he had to swap in a different transmission, (im not saying he is a shady guy at all) so what else has he had to swap into the car, it just raises some flags. like he COULD have swapped in an 05 tranny with over 100k miles from a non legit source. but the car looks good, nice low mile tranny swap im sure its a legit evo. glws.

That's because you're an ignorant consumer who should probably stick with neons. Some people may have worded their statements a bit inappropriately, but the fact of the matter is when you spend that kind of money you need to have answers. People who just assume a seller is honest and truthful are not living in reality and shouldn't be buying cars in the first place. Anyone who has gotten screwed over on buying something (especially something expensive) on the internet knows to have caution and ask questions.
And regardless if it was an 03, 04, whatever year tranny you need to have your f*cking facts straight when you're selling a car. When you have inaccuracies in your post and the general public points out those inaccuracies then you start making people nervous. Which will in turn bring on more questions.
The original owner of the car pointed out a couple facts that would definitely make me think twice about purchasing this car. But again it's not my money so it doesn't matter. At the same time if someone is genuinely interested in purchasing this car then they should be able to ask all the questions they want. Otherwise you could end up with a $10k plus mistake. And that should be a big deal for you guys cause you can buy like 5 or 6 SRT Neons for that price!!!
I'm sure the OP won't need too much luck selling because it does look clean and there is an *** for every seat.
