I'm really just feeling this out as I'm not entirely sure anyone would have any interest. 2003 Evo VIII Tarmac Black but there is hail damage and it's got a lot of issues the primary being that it doesn't run. 262k miles and needs a lot of love in order to be in a decent condition again. It was a daily driver for 13 years since it rolled off the lot in March of '03. I was driving home the other day and timing belt was stripped of a few teeth which means bent valves and the like. Windshield is cracked, hail damage already mentioned, plus a whole slew of other things that are probably past their prime and need replacing.
While I would love to keep it and fix it all back to it's former glory in the future, I have kids and wife now and if I'm serious about it, those plans will most likely never happen so it's just dead weight to me at this point.

Start with what you do know. A Clean evo 8/9 shell with full interior can be had for $3000 to $4000. Since your shell is banged up, but you still presumably have every part except a working motor, I would post it for sale as non-op for $7500, but that's just how much I know you can get for it. Working 2004 evos sell for about $13,000, so $7500 should be fair for a Non-op 2003 that needs body a good amount of body work.

I wouldn't even know what to ask for it considering it's condition but the salvage yard wants to pay me $200 based solely on the year it was made...they couldn't care less what model or make it is.
