Kamikaze Header (CHEAP)

hey guys,
ok the old school Kamikaze came off and a new 4-2-1 went on. This is the oldschool Kamikaze 4-1 header. Its got an O2 bung so no need to have one put in. The header is in fine shape, no holes or cracks. I cleaned, steel brushed and oiled the header, metal is in fine condition and ready for paint or high temp powder coat if you want. The midpipe is a bit rough with some decent surface rust but it is solid. There is a small tear in the mesh over the flex pipe but I never found it to make any noise so i never fixed it All in all a soild setup for CHEAP

$40 plus shipping (+3% for paypal)

Ok got bored and cleaned the header and midpipe up. They are actually in much better shape then i thought. Almost all the rust and what i thought was damage was just surface grime and came off with simple green and a steel brush. The metal has now been oiled and is ready for whatever you want to do to it.

Did your header ever make any noise going above 3500 RPM's? My kamikaze does that, if it did, did you remedy it or did yours just not do it...

define make noise ? the Kamikaze always had the same tone all the way thorugh the RPM band. However I do have a JVT 4-2-1 on that at 3500+ it makes kind of an odd rasping. however i think i just have a leak somewhere.

I'll see if I can get a sound clip. It sounds like an exhaust leak would sound with the bolt slightly loose and the gasket flapping away. It's not that, I have checked and tightened everything. I do think I have a leak though, because I did do sea foam and smoke came from the area of the downpipe...soooo....I just figured I would ask if you had the same "noise" issue.

Will- The noise comes from it rattling against the subframe , go to a muffler shop and for like 5 bucks they bend it a little and fix the problem .

I also have the header!

Good header! I should have seen this before spending 50 bucks on mine to repair a crack i put on it when i bottomed out the car

Good price!
