The cruise control is just the half of it that is on the throttle body.

 

Would that intake not work with a auto tranny? Whats the difference betweeen the auto and manual version of that intake?

 

The stock intake will work for the auto tranny but the cold air AEM intake will only fit the manual tranny as the auto tranny is to big and in the way of it fitting.

No one makes a cold air for the auto Lancer, only ram air or you can make a cold air yourself.
