FS: Complete 4B11T head, needs rebuild

My piston/rod in cylinder #1 tried to make a run for it! I purchased a complete longblock to replace my blown motor, so I do not need the head (unfortunately, the block was not salvageable).

The head definitely has 4 bent valves on cylinder #1, and a few minor nicks in the cylinder dome, but nothing that is not fixable on the core itself (per AMS who pulled the head). Everything else appears to be in good shape. Engine had 42k miles when it assploded.

Price is $1000 shipped to your door OBO, or $900 for local pickup (Aurora, IL). If you want to use PayPal, you must pay the fees.

Why pay $1228 for a BARE head when you can have valves, cams, bearing caps, etc. Pics:

if you cant sell it...maybe have it built by AMS or Buschur and then sell it? I know you would be investing more money but could take the scare away of a potential buyer thinkin this is an unsalvageable head.

Do you know what the cause was for your piston + rod acting out?

yeah... I thought about that, but honestly there is absolutely nothing that is non-fixable about this head. willing to work on the price with anyone interested
