SOLD

Hello All,

We, I finally decided to go back to the modified stock catback exhaust on my sportback. Since i have a toddler now most of my time is spent going slow or commuting on the highway and i just can't justify the volume any longer.

This was the Prototype that Chad ran on his Sportback. He was kind enough to section it up and install vband clamps for me when he shipped it down last year.

This is a beautiful system... but then again it was made by CBRD so what do you expect As you can see the system includes the large single in dual out magnaflow can, an inline resonator, and quad tips.

I'm asking $475 shipped and payed via paypal

Sadly i forgot to take them before i pulled it off... i will search my phone and see if i have any.. the angle of the can can be adjusted to put the tips anywhere you want in the skirt opening (vertically that is).

MidPipe is 3" all the way from the front 3" flange to the can inlet. Muffler is single 3" in dual 2.5" out. The tips are all 2.5"

Is there drone noise on highway?

Is this setup louder than the standard magnaflow exhaust kit?

I have never used the Magnaflow nor ridden in a RA with it... If this uses the same main can I would assume that it is quieter given this one has an additional resonator in the midpipe.

Chad (CBRD) built this as a prototype for his sportback... he said it was very reasonable noise level wise... For some reason it made the hatch area of my sportback resonate with low frequency sound. I think there were a few reasons for that, First my spare tire well is stripped out so the floor pan acted like the head of a base drum, second, i had the hangers mounted so the can was as close at it would go to the trunk floor, and third the tips were angled straight out the back. The day before i took the exhaust off the car, i rotated the rubber hangers to allow the can to drop down an inch or so and I rotated the can so the tips pointed at a slight downward angle (Vband for the win). Those two changes made a big difference in the hatch area sound volume, cutting it down noticeably.

You also have to consider what else is in the system... I am running the ultimate racing evo x 02 downpipe, ultimate racing resonated midpipe (small resonator) and now the stock catback....

I know man, everyting CBRD makes is a work of art.... Sadly no sound clips... I'll check with Chad and see if he has any.
