Springs and retainers are a must. If you're looking for cams, buying ones that don't require springs/retainers are kind of a waste of time.

 

Box looks pretty beat up.
Can you post pics of the actual cams and of their identifying stamps on the cams showing they are from GSC?

 

The box isn't "beat up",It just had tape on it that was removed and it took off some of the printing.
Here's a pic of one of the cams, clean as a whistle, never used. You can see the gsc stamp in the middle.
