EVO / Lancer In Car PC Complete Set Up
This system was in my 2003 EVO VIII and worked great for about 4 months. Losing extra weight in the car so the PC has to go.
Best offer takes it. Not looking to get rich but I am not giving it away either. Lowballers dont bother.
All sold exactly how you see in the pictures. I know the DVD rom in the unit is tempermental. Sometimes the operating system see's it some times not. Thats why I bought the seperate unit. Runs via the fire wire connection. The screen is a Xernac 700TSV and the PC is a Capachinno TX3. Comes pre loaded with XP and also has GPS softwatre Co-Pilot 7.0 installed as well. Included in the package is the SIR-ALP one with the Sir-ALP controller installed, it allows you to controll the sirius tuner with the "road runner" front end. 2 GPS antennas. I bought the second one because it was smaller. A couple Serial/USB cables, brand new in the box Microsoft wreless keyboard and mouse. Used it for a day in the car. Also included is a Kenwood Head unit CD/AF/FM/Sirius. Comes with kenwood sirius tuner, remote, antenna, and a convertor to use the cd changer input to rca inputs.

Also this unit will run ECU+ perfectly in the car. Thats what I originally bought it for. Its capable of running all the engine management software I've seen out there as well.
Im gonna do something similar.. But use OpenECU to flash the stock ECU and write some datalogging software. I will also be able to have it change out the maps for me for valet mode or whatever..
OpenECU is a free GPLed Flashing software for the evo.

I think he meant a nail to scratch your butt crack with there Dan.
From stories I've heard, the fingernail can hold agents (bromine) that when urinated upon will drip into the cup and oxidise any illicit compound that otherwise will give a positive ID in urine a screen.
FYI: I learned that in the analytical lab, not on the street

that looks awesome, did you make the LCD holder thing ? also, how difficult was it to relocate the HVAC controls ? Just asking because that's what I am going to do, but go the linux way I think.

The movement of the HVAC can be a PITA if you havent done something similar but not THAT hard. I hand fab'd the screen panel. I have a ton of pics I took during the fabrication process. NOT easy but again, also not impossible. Just time consuming I guess.

Yes the monitor is touch screen capable. I disabled teh touch screen so I could use the Serial port for ECU+, but all it takes is a download of the drivers and your back to full touchscreen capability.
I am asking 850 OBO.
