bnib.. beltronics 995 radar detector
so its a little late for the holidays but its never too late to get yourself a christmas gift for your car selling a brand new still in shrink wrapped 995 from beltronics.. this really is one of the top radar detectors you can buy.. only ones that could compare with this is the valentino 1 which is twice the price of what im selling this for (which in some test are equal to the 995) and the escort 8500 (which i had previously and it was alright, always gave false laser detection when you were under boost .. oh and beltronics is actually the same company now as escort so you get superior detection from this unit!! my opinion is that this really is one of the best on the market today.. but anyway i was selling this for 230 shipped to where ever you live..
oh and just as a reference, this really is identical to everything the valentino 1 has to offer ..
k band,ka band,ku band,x band, and most importantly the 360 full coverage

everyone doubts anything but the v1 but in reality it is up there in every test with the valentino..
http://radartest.com/article.asp?articleID=100542 (sti driver.. same exact internals as 995, the 995 doesnt have the shield thing where cops cant notice you have a radar detector.. only useful in washington dc and virginia.
http://radartest.com/article.asp?articleid=9090 (oh this test is good, since both have the same internals as the 995 but the rx65 is capable of picking up 2 signals at the same exact time)
". Only the Passport 9500i and Beltronics STi reported 100% of signal strength on Ka band followed closely by Valentine One at 96%" quoted from speedzones.com
"As the Radar Roy's Radar Detector Rumble tests show, the new Beltronics RX65 performed as well as the Escort 8500 X50." "he testing also showed that the Bel RX65 and the Escort 8500 X50 performed as well, and in some cases better then the more expensive Valentine 1 radar detector." quoted from radar roy
seems a bit odd that 4 different independent tests would rate these units better the the V1.. people just jumping on the bandwagon for the v1 it seems.. gotta do some research before you decide to just buy the v1 because everyone says its good
