nah, ours is all one piece. the lancers have a separate upper grille surround...

remove 2 plastic clips that hold on the intake snorkel. remove 4 plastic clips that hold on the upper cooling plate (radiator cover), reach down behind the grille and unscrew it. reverse process to install new one.
