Hey all, I have some OEM Non-SSS Halogen headlights for sale off of a 48k 08 Evo X. It will come with the low beam halogen bulbs and 8000k HID bulbs (just the bulbs, no ballasts, but I'll throw some in if you pay my asking price).

What bulbs do the headlights take?
9006 for lows, 9005 for highs

What comes with the headlights?
9006 halogen bulbs (which work as high beams) and 9006 8000k HID bulbs (no ballasts)

Do I need a certain ballast to have the HID's work?
No, you can find some chinese ballast on ebay. It all works the same.

How bright are the HID's in the reflective housing.
Pretty bright but not douchebagish bright. I've ran HID's on my car since day 1 and i haven't gotten flashed or ran off the road. Here's a pic though. 6000k on the left, 8000k on the right, both 35w ballasts (which I recommend running, not 55w ballasts)


Can I retrofit projectors into these headlights?
Anything is possible!!!...but apparently headlight gurus don't like this. If you decide to go this route, I can ship directly to whomever you'd like.
