Tein SRC Super Racing
Tein SRC Super Racing
Used for about 1 year and 5,000 miles...still in like new condition. These are off of my Evo IX. Car still only has 23xxx miles. Car has been in storage while i was in AFG. This is the third set of coilovers i have used and are by far the best, no question. Selling cause my wife is pregnant and she keeps yelling at me cause her ***** hurt and the bumpy ride doesnt help. (tmi?) Pics will be up soon. $1400 shipped. Will consider partial trades for stock Evo 8 wheels (need at least 2) and MR Bilsteins. Shipping must be USPS as i am a US soldier living in Europe. Retails for $3800
Also have 2 Corresponding EDFC Units. $300 Each/$550 for the pair.
Purchased from JSC Speed
Tein Super Racing coilovers for the Evolution are designed for infinite adjustability and durability on the racetrack. These are ready for competition use and feature mono-tube shocks, full-length ride height adjustment, and separate compression and rebound force adjustment. The system is also compatible with Tein's EDFC for in-car adjustment. The Tein Super Racing dampers are an excellent track setup, for those looking for a reliable, consistent suspension with infinite adjustability.
Features and Specs:
1. Pillowball Upper Mounts: Tein Super Racing coilovers come with front adjustable and rear rigid pillowball upper mounts. Front upper mounts feature camber and caster adjustment, rear are non-adjustable.
2. Mono-Tube Structure: Mono-tube shocks give better control and road feel as well as stable damping.
3. Full-Length Adjustment: A movable lower bracket allows for adjustment of the ride height independently of preload.
4. Separate Compression and Rebound Damping Force: Compression is adjustable 16x and rebound is adjustable 16x, making for 256 different settings. Use of specially shaped needle valve enables linear damping force adjustment at each and every 16 levels.
5. Rust-Proofing: All threading parts are coated with specially formulated Fluorine, to prevent adherence and rust. Electroless nickel plating combined with clear painting is applied to lower brackets.
6. Inverted Shell Case: Tein's strut suspension systems feature inverted steel shell case is used for strut types, for which the side rigidity is inevitable. Linear damping force, which is one of the advantages of mono-tube system, is just as same as the regular shell case.
Spring Rate (Lb/In): F: 671 / R: 559
F: Pillowball Adjustable
R: Pillowball Non-Adjustable
16-level compression
16-level rebound
spring preload
camber & caster Adjustable
VEHICLE: SUGGESTED DROP (in inches):

These really aren't that bad. I liked them. Lots of features, GREAT fitment on the front with excellent tire clearance and brake line routing.
Sick price too. If you want some 16k rear springs for these I have set of the 58mm ID ones.
