WTT Evolution IX MR for Evolution X MR

Just curious if anyone would be up for this, just a straight pinkslip trade. I currently own a 2006 graphite grey EVO 9 MR. Very well maintained, only 50k miles. looking to get the Evolution 10 MR because I could use the automatic for my getting through traffic at my new job.

Thanks in advance

Ok, first thank you for commenting. I was getting lonely haha. Second, why not? Maybe someone misses their old EVO IX a whole lot and wants to go back? I dunno, I'm 99% sure your absolutely right, but im still hoping. Seriously in need of automatic + plus all the evo goodness.

If anyone is interested I don't mind trading you my 9 plus cash on top. 1-2k. (all I can spare at the moment)

Thanks.

well, the thing is, guy that have 9's dont usually go buy X MR's, and that's essentially what are wanting to find. People who mod don't really buy MR's. People who buy MR's are like you, they want an auto, AC, cruise and stuff, so they're not likely to have ever bought a 9 in the first place, or want to trade for one. Also, since MR's were near 40 new, most of them are not paid off. You're also looking at, book value wise, a significant price difference. Although the 9 is much more desirable for racing, or really, anything-that doesn't make it worth more money to the bank.

Right now my 9 is not stock. It has the ARM intake, a greddy catback, and the walbro 255 fuel pump. And I know your right about trading. But ill still keep my fingers crossed.

+1 to ikt, the evo 9 mr is not close to the value of a x mr. i'm possibly thinking of selling my 08 mr and if i would do a trade like this i'd ask for 6k maybe. not hating, just giving my opinion.

good luck op

if its the 6MT Evo 9, you're gonna sit on it for a long time, most people don't want that tranny :hs:

Why not pick up an old Lexus and DD it?

You know, thats weird. I get that a lot, people saying that the 6 speed isn't as great. I've never had any problems with it personally. Seems fine to me haha. But im not a hardcore tuner/modder either, so I'm sure my opinion doesnt hold much weight.

If no one would be up for a flat trade (i figured as much, but ya know. wanted to see) then ill just keep the 9 as suck it up. Bummer. i'd kill for some cruise control. uhg.
