FS: Basically new stock size Advans

Stock Yokohama Advan A046 235/45WR17 tires available. Delivery miles only. Picking up new IX MR next week and will install my Volks on the car immediately. Putting Michelin Pilot Sport all seasons on the stock BBS wheels so I don't need the Advans.

My MR has 3 miles on it, so the tires have no use on them other than the usual delivery miles. Car was not test driven. Tire rack is quoting these for $244.00 each right now without shipping. ($976.00 for 4) Prefer local buyer but will consider shipping. Seeking $750.00 obo, pm me w/ offers. Let's not waste each other's time w/ low ball offers.

Thanks for looking.

Welcome newbie

Do some research on what basaically new Advans go for. Your asking price is way too high, so I think your idea od a lowball offer is probably actually a reasonable offer. Why are you replacing Advans with Michelin PS? I had the Michelins on my 2002 M3, and I promise you Advans have much more grip. No comparison. The Advans work well in bad weather too.

as you can see he said that hes getting volks i'm assuming with better tires..then putting the michelins as daily drivers on his BBS...is this correct? it would seem that the michelins would be a better daily driver tires less noise and last longer since they're all seasons..just taking a guess but why else would he have 2 sets of rims if one wasnt for the track and one was for daily driving.

Thanks for your opinion. But I didn't ask for it. I placed the current price I saw on Tire Rack for comparison. People who are shopping for Advans know what they cost and I'm trying to provide a little cheaper alternative. Know what obo means? You don't agree that's fine, no need to be condescending. BTW; received alot of PM's, so I couldn't have been too far off.

As far as my Michelin tire choice, read my post. I'm doing all-seasons. I plan on snowboarding w/ my Evo. Not trying to replace the Advans w/ an all season tire. I already have Volks w/ R-compounds for my summer / track setup.

Peace!

You sir are correct. Advans are great tires, just too noisy for my taste for daily use.
