My two driver's side wheels were recently curbed pretty badly by someone else driving the car. When I say badly, I mean when I first looked at them, I got a glimpse of what my wheels would look like with polished lips. That said, they are not bent or otherwise damaged. Just curbed, one more than the other.

The worse one looks like this. Consistent curbage around 50% of the whole lip.





The other looks like this. Maybe a quarter of the lip this time, and not as deep.



The other two wheels are practically mint. I'll take pictures if requested.

Obviously most people wouldn't want their street cars to roll on wheels like these. I'm no different. I'm in a situation where I could save up just a little more and get the aftermarket wheels I want, so it doesn't make sense to me to get these two wheels refinished.

These are ideal for someone looking to paint/powdercoat a set of MR BBSs, or for someone with a track car who doesn't care how banged up they look. They are currently on the stock A046s with 10,000-15,000 miles on them. There is some tread left but not much. They might make it through this summer.

I'm looking for $500 for all four wheels + tires picked up. I'll say upfront that anything lower doesn't pay off for me. Would be willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet you. I'm not sure how much shipping would be but if you're interested, I'll find out.

 

Do they leak any air or anything? or is it just curbed up?
