Great question! It does quite easily, depending on what car you have the only thing you will have to change will be the bolt that holds it down, but sometimes not, you may be able to lay it face down and make your original bolt work... Or You may need to flip the metal thing that goes in the middle as well, ive done this in 3 cars the most it took was an extra long automotive grade 8 bolt for $6. So yeah its easy as long as you're not running a 265/275 kinda spare tire
