Bump.... Can you post a picture.
Will this make me be able to run, an atmospheric BOV? What other things does it do?

As for what it does. Yes it allows you to run your bov vented to atmosphere without the stalling issues.

Here's directly off of HKS' website:
"The HKS EIDS has been developed to buffer dramatic airflow meter signal fluctuations. By buffering these fluctuations the EIDS prevents engine stalling or stumbling associated with sudden imbalances in air/fuel ratio of airflow meter-equipped vehicles that utilize atmosphere venting blow-off valves."

YES!

The HKS EIDS will allow you to run any bov, vented to atmosphere.

question. I want to run VTA with my Greddy Type S. I know i need the EIDS, but won't i need to fabricate a new intake pipe that gets rid of the hole where the BOV would have been connected to?

 

no, you can buy a plug from an autoparts store.
