Like the title says, I'm selling my Dual Port BOV because I decided to stick with my stock BOV. The sound was a bit too loud for my tastes. Anyway, it isn't the EVO specific one, with the red top, instead it's the blue top. It's a bit scratched up from where it connects to the IC hose but other than that it's in good shape. what car did it come off if its not evo spec?

 

Honestly, I'm not sure, I got it from a friend who got it from a friend. The adapter fits the stock hosing just fine so no problems there.

have u seen it run on an evo? ill buy it if u can assure me that it'll run fine on my evo

 

I had it in my car for about a month before I took it out. I had idle issues; when coming to a stop the RPMs would drop and pop back up. The car never died, but it came close to it quite often. The guy I got it from used it in his EVO before he sold it for a Cobra. He didn't have any idle issues whatsoever so I guess he his MAF isn't as sensitive as most of ours. So unless your EVO is one of the few that can VTA with no problems or you don't mind having the idle dip issues, this BOV isn't for you. Let me know if you still want it cause come Thursday I'm gonna trade with another forum member for his Forge DV.

 

why does it have RPM drops if its a dual port? is it 50/50, adjustable, etc...

 

I guess my car is overly sensitive to lost air. Like I said, some cars can handle it, no problem, some cars can't. It's a 50/50 split, non-adjustable.
