okay guys i've been getting asked alot about the pistons and the emanage...
The emanage will come with the support tool software and the main/ignition timing harnesses. These will let you tune both the fuel and timing... timing can be advanced/retarded up to 20 degrees... fuel can be trimmed +/- 20%..

If you don't have a laptop you won't be able to fine tune the fuel or timing. However for those waiting to get the laptop you can still put the emanage in the car and tune the fuel... it has adjustments on it that act like the AFC adjustments. You adjust the fuel in a certain rpm band...

As for the pistons... they are still in the bags and brand new. Never been removed from the sealed bags at all. They come with everything you get when you purchase them from RRM. Shipping on them is only 25 bucks so they are 425 shipped... if you want to barter with me on them be ready to pay.

DON'T jerk me around on a price and then say you'll think about it!!

Boe could answer this better, but in general, no.... less compression ratio, more boost...More compression ratio, less boost.
Look at it this way.. your cylinder is only capable of holding so much pressure before detonation occurs... so you increase the compression ratio from stock 9.5:1 to these pistons (10.5:1) this increases the pressure in the cylinder at Top Dead Center on Boe's pistons are compressing the air fuel mixture by reducing the air volume in the cylinder 10.5 times where the stock ones are only reducing the volume by 9.5 times. Without major modifactions to the engine, your likely hood of causing damage to your engine increases. I am working on a turbo engine right now, and I have chosen to go with a 8.5:1 CR piston setup...

I thought these were 10:1 pistons

 

10.5:1 should be... they are the RRM ones and as far as i know they are 10.5:1 ratio.
