Here is my story about Sam Corke and my injectors.

I posted my injectors for sale awhile ago in the for sale section. They are used 780cc Precision injectors. I recieved several offers for them, a couple of people who backed out, then finally recieved an offer via AIM from Sam Corke (evilevo11 on AIM).

After a lot of talking about different shops and our setups and other stuff, we finally agreed to $240 for my injectors. He told me he would drive to TopSpeed on a certain day but never showed up. He apologized and stated that he had difficulty installing his exhaust setup and we would arrive another day. That's fine. He then suggested to me that I could just leave the injectors at TopSpeed and he would just pay for them and pick them up there (since we both live somewhat far from the shop). I agreed and dropped off my injectors at TopSpeed.

Sam came into TopSpeed to be tuned with EcuTek as well as have the injectors purchased and installed on his Vishnu setup Evo. He told me the same day that he would pay me via PayPal and I requested that he pay TopSpeed directly so they can just add it towards my tab. He agreed to do so and I assumed the $240 credit would go towards my account at the shop. However, Sam told Doug at TopSpeed that he was actually PayPal'n me the money for the injectors on the computer at TopSpeed. Doug assumed he was teling the truth and did not charge him for the price of the injectors into his final bill at TopSpeed.

In the end, I have $0 in my PayPal account and Sam's bill from TopSpeed did NOT include the price of the injectors. I can provide a copy of Sam's bill AND a copy or screen shot of my PayPal statement proving that absolutely NO payment was made for the injectors.

I have tried to call Sam, IM sam, and PM Sam for payment for the injectors. He does not ever pick up any of my phone calls or pretends like he can not hear me and keeps saying "hello?" and hangs up. In the PM's, he states that TopSpeed owes me for the injectors and they made a mistake on the bill and undercharged him so it is their fault, not his. Again, no where on the bill does it say anything about injectors... only $650 EcuTek tuning and $70 1 hour labor for injector installation.

I would love to resolve this issue via PM's or phone calls but I dearly hate being scammed and being run around by someone who will not pay for their product. This point of this thread is to enlighten everyone else on this forum about my ordeal and hopefully will influence Sam Corke to send me payment for my injectors.

If you are friends with Sam Corke, please let him know that what he is trying to do is wrong. All I ask for is my money for my injectors and for us to go our seperate ways.

NEVER trust anyone by leaving stuff at a shop. doug at Topspeed really isnt to be held liable for anything unless he was specifically asked to make sure the payment went thru.

Wait for the cash to be in your hands first before you hand over the goods.

If the kid does not cooperate, I'd say hunt him down and break his ***** or better yet find his EVO, do $240 worth of damage to it or have someone else do it......then call it even steven

i would hope with a little interest after the problems..personally i'm such an ******* i would have given out his phone # and had as many evom members call him for as long as it took for him to get annoyed that he cant even own a phone without too many calls coming in then either he'd have to pay 150 dollar cancellation fee on his cell phone or pay you..that or like someone else said find his evo and not do 240 dollars of damage but like i said interest is a ***** and consider me as a bank :-P sorry had to get that out but i'm glad that he paid you and everything is resolved
