What's triggering the C2DI? The ecu signal is too low. It needs 5V.

 

I would guess this is for aftermarket ecu's...............

the orginal plug that plug into the factory coil will be triggering the C2Di

there are wiring Diagram on AEM's forum.

 

The stock ecu will not trigger the C2DI.
I made this set-up myself. I use a DSM PTU to trigger my MSD CDI.

 

according to AEM it will trigger via waste spark just like how the buschur unit and Switzer is doing. Please refer to AEM web site forum or call their tech support
