With a soild tune you can get theses cams to idle like stock mine idle was a lil loppy. It all depends on what timeing you set it at. So yes you do need a retune for this. Topend my car just keep on pulling all the way to 8200rpm. It all depends on your tune. Theses are just like the 272's but with a lil more top end. On the low end i didnt lose any power if anything it felt better once you hit that gas your going to feel your car just pull and pull and the sound it gives off is sick.
