He doesnt own a chop shop. The turbo was bought from another EvoM member. He was going to use this turbo on his evo9, but he picked up a complete 20g-5 setup so this turbo is up for sale.

The turbo has 10k miles on it from what the original owner said. The turbo looks like new.

I just bought something from him. He is a good guy! Speaking of that did it ship yet?

Also I am curious how much better a stock 9 turbo is versus the 20g-5 or 20g-6? I am interested. Would you sell without the hotside?

What do u mean by "how much better is a 9 turbo" exactly? If u r talking HorsePower the 20g's should have a tad bit more power then the evo 9 16g

Well if I could select the 9 turbo or one of the 20g variants then which one would be best to go with? I am very interested in the reliability found with an all stock turbo such as the 9 turbo. Obviously he chose to go with a 20g variant for a reason.

Turbo is sold, thanks for all the interest.

I went with the original wr9-5 20g because it seems to be the best turbo to go low 11s with. 50 trim cars dont seem to track any quicker and 30 and 35s are just too laggy for the small e.t. improvement. I like fast 1/8 mile car. Plus a used 20g is hard to pass as far as costs go.
