Ultimate Racing 3inch Test Pipe For sale

Name = Frank
Location = Monmouth County New Jersey (Exit 105 off of the GSP)
For Sale = 3inch Ultimate-Racing Test Pipe
Reason For Sale = Bought there 3inch HFC

**********SOLD**********SOLD**********

Right from www.ultimate-racing.com:

3" Stainless Steel Test-Pipe
- 2.5” Stainless Steel Construction
- Direct Bolt-On Replacement for Catalytic Converter
- Mechanical Check Engine Light Fix
$75.00 USD

I purchased Ultimate-Racing's HFC so I have no need for this. Asking $40 shipped.

Just an FYI for anyone: I bought my 3inch Ultimate-Racing exhaust system used. The previous ower had it on his car for approximately 3,000 miles and it shows. Everything looks Brand New. I never installed this piece on my car. It is still packaged the way I bought it from "BMWE30" and it includes the original instructions not like you need them.

Again it's $40 shipped or best offer.

May I ask why you don't want to use it? Too loud? Polution? Inspection? Are the directions for the whole exhaust system or just the testpipe? What do the directions actually tell you? Can it be installed wrong?

Thanks and sorry for all the questions.

Why I don't want to use it:

1) The HFC Quiets the exhaust down. I have not even installed the exhaust but on my previous turbo cars (1990 300ZXTT and 04 SRT-4) the High Flow Cat quieted the exhaust down.

2) If I do get pulled over, cops in my area DO check underneath the car. If they do they will see a catalytic convertor. I know it's illegal to remove the stock catalytic convertor in New Jersey, but odds are he won't know the difference.

Directions are just for the testpipe. I don't know if it can be installed wrong. I just opened up the sheet of paper, saw testpipe instructions, and closed the piece of paper and packaged it back up with the testpipe since I know I will not be using it. If you really are interested, I will tear the package open, get the directions and type to you what they say. If not I am not going to unpackage it.

I keep getting a lot of PM's.

The test pipe has a 3inch inlet and a 3inch outlet.

It is constructed of 2.5inch stainless steel.

Again the inlet and outlet measures 3inches!!!

Didn't know there was a specific test pipe for a specific year. It came off a 9, but I have no idea if it will fit an 8.

Update: The buyer is supposed to come get it this Saturday. If that falls through I will make an update and put it back up for sale.

*****Sale Pending*****
