YOu can do what I did and get the Resonated test pipe. Quites **** way down and looks like a cat. Ask the cops for a decible reading as well, don't let them rob you.

Unfortunately MN Law is stupid and db readings don't count. I've had a few friends pulled over and when they went to court they were told that the db levels don't matter. It's up to the officers discretion to cite a ticket for a loud exhaust. A couple people have been pulled over, got their exhaust db levels tested, had a max of 90db and still couldn't win in court because the officer's word is "superior".

The cop who pulled me over stated that the "canister style exhaust on my car was obnoxious and annoying". This was right after he was telling me about he wanted to put tint on his truck, but MN law states that each window can be tinted to a max of 50%.

Basically I was pulled over by a cop who hates imports. I've ran into a few cool ones who ask about the car and talk about track events coming up, and a few dicks.

Your next steps is to modify your stock Muffler into an exhaust. I have seen people do this and it works amazingly, just run a pipe right through the OEM muffler and it is quiet too.

Yeah I would keep it, it is an excelent exhaust, cannot go worng and it sounds great. I got me the resonated test pipe not so much for sound but for teh fact that it LOOKS like a CAT. Plus it is 3.0 straight back.

Sorry guys for the delay. I got busy over the weekend and didn't get a chance to pick up a stock exhaust from another local evo owner.

Once I get the stock exhaust I will take pics of the AMS exhaust and we can get on with everything. Sorry again.
