FS: Evo 8 transfer case

Came off my 2003 Evo 8 with 51K on it. Sent it to TRE to have it rebuilt and the pinion gear has 3 missing teeth. Drove completely fine with no whining. I had no idea the case was bad until after I pulled it to install a TRE tranny. I figured if I'm building up the tranny, why not put an LSD in the t-case? Well, the pinion gear was missing teeth, so I bought another t-case to have one installed.

Just tossing it on here in case someone needs a t-case to roll on while theirs is getting rebuilt or if theirs is totally toast. Like I said, this t-case showed no symptoms of being bad before I pulled it.

I don't know what a good price for a t-case with missing teeth is worth, so I'll say $350 shipped + paypal fees.

Good idea, thanks. I ended up going with a stage 3 shep t.case anyway... but like you said, it'd be good to have a backup.

I bought another T-case off of eBay and had Shep do the upgrade to that case.

This case I just decided wouldn't be worth spending the extra money to rebuild. I figured I'd throw this up there in case someone needed a case to replace the gear in.
