Interested in the cams. Are they for an VIII? Do you need to upgrade the valvetrain with the 272 cam? What kind of gains did you experience?

 

Yes, they are for an VO VIII and no valvetrain upgrade is required. I did alot of upgrades at the same time, so it's hard to say what the gains where.

the 272i/264e makes great power with great idle characteristics.

check my cam compare below of 272i/264e vs 280's, they are hks cams, but the early gsc cams were fairly similar to the hks grinds, so i would expect similar results.
