I have for sale the stock down-pipe, cat, midpipe, and muffler. The car has only 7k miles so the parts are pretty new. Anyways I have no price in mind and am open to offers. As for parting it out, I do not want to part it out yet.

sorry for the potentially silly Q, but whats a midpipe ? does it go before or after the cat (or testpipe cause i dont have a cat). what im really getting at is that i only need the muffler for my IX, but im affraid i will need more than that to make it fit (right now i have a catless 3" exhaust)

 

yeah, the midpipe is that gigantically long pipe that goes from the cat to the muffler.

the downpipe goes before the cat & the midpipe/muffler are both after the cat.

 

cool thats what i need- midpipe and muffler only. but now the Q is, will the stock midpipe fit my 3" testpipe. and if it doesnt, can the shop still weld it together somehow ?

 

it should fit since the stock cat will bolt up to aftermarket cat-back exhausts, and test-pipes can be replaced w/o changing out the entire exhaust, ideally/theoretically itshould work.
