As i thought thats the spring that comes with.. theres no way the 9psi spring would hold 40+psi
im on 27 and am using the 11 psi spring

-18 and -21 in/Hg Un-painted -11 Psi (-22 in/Hg )
- 14 and -17 in/Hg White -9 Psi (-18 in/Hg )
-10 and -13 in/Hg Black -7 Psi (-14 in/Hg )

All the springs hold 50+ psi. when the engine is under boost the spring pressure becomes boost +spring pressure. Example 50 psi + 7psi = 57psi seat pressure.

Choosing springs is more about drive-ability. Most cars drive best with 9psi spring and thats why they supply them that way.

Indeed, very well said

I also run the 9 PSI spring...

To the OP, is the BOV new? Does it have any scratches? I know someone who is looking for one!

The BOV was purchased new and was on the car for 106 miles. The bov still looks brand new with zero scratches.
