I used VHT header paint which is rated at 2000 deg f.

 

Yes but you have to paint it while is HOT, or cure it in an oven...!!!

BTW, nice kit... and ... WHY did you paint the TIAL...??

Wow, paint might have not been the best choice. What happened to turbo? how many miles?

I painted it because I'm not really a fan of the bling factor especially living in Cali. I admit it doesn't look as good as before lol.

The kit has under 5k miles. Not really sure how the turbo blew, it could be a number of things. I started it up one day and smoke started coming out of the exhaust. I then checked the turbo for any play and sure enough there was a lot of it.

That paint is going to peel off after the first WOT pull...

 

I drove 500 or so miles with it before I removed it and it didn't peel with plenty of WOT pulls. I also did the same with the stock exhaust manifold and it has held up well with 6k miles.

Anyway, pending sale on the kit..

 

Thats the worst rattle can job I've ever seen. I assume you did it while it was still on the car too even. Good luck with the sale.
