That's a good q! As you can see, I never opened or installed these cams so I can't say for sure. 
But, my car was running the older generation of GSC272's before and they idled quite well. Not as smooth as stock, but nowhere near as bad as aggressive 280's. I daily drive my car and it was perfectly livable.
