you say you cant compare a BBK and a red, but at the same time you cant compare a built motor w/a red and a built motor w/a hta35r. There are several here in houston and the 35r evo's destroy the reds in pulling and drag the red does not even come close...but when it comes to a road race and time attack i feel they are pretty even. I dont really see all the hype behind the red...so with the time and headache involved its better to just build your motor and go w/ a 35r...or FP can pick it up a little bit and start producing more.

 

lol the hype is because of the numbers the turbo can produce and you dont have to spend a arm and a leg and save as long to get a strong setup. Not to mention for those living in the Cali area with the cops cracking down etc. Provides a fast car yet does not look like it belongs on a track only. also im a fan of buying turbos new. you can get a 35r set up now for around 2k used. I prefer for that much money to get all new stuff and that way i know how hard its been pushed. yes you can send the turbo off to get rebuilt etc but thats more money and time waiting. It would be crazy if Fp stopped producing the red then look at the frenzy. Good thing is least they have a product thats in high demand. when i doubt if i lust for more power after i install mine if ever i can just sell it off easy and get a 35r setup.
