FS: Partial GT42R turbo kit
FS: Partial GT42R turbo kit
Here is a chance to get a big power turbo system at a great price and piece the rest of it together yourself. 42R turbo kits cost $8000-10000. I only want $2500 for mine. Here is what is included:
Garrett GT4294R turbo
Tial VBand turbine housing equipped
thick wall tubular top mount manifold for VBand Tial 42R
Tial 60mm wastegate
dumptube
PM if seriously interested, I'll send you a lot of pictures and more info on the kit.

here are the only two pictures I have on this laptop, I can get more of the kit off the car first of the week. As you can see the dumptube coming off the big 60mm gate comes through the hood which makes for a nice 2step display and sounds ridiculous screaming to 9500rpm! I will also throw in the modified mesh insert for the Evo hood that is made to fit the dumptube.

Got any pics of it going through the hood insert? I would like to see both sides please, and 1 of the hood closed and it sticking through. Thanks in advance.

this is the only pic I have of the car with the hood closed. For what its worth I will unbolt the mesh piece from my hood that is already cut/modified for the dumptube and give it to you if you buy the kit. That way it will be completely plug n play, just add a downpipe, oil lines and lower IC pipe.

fathouse, I lost the image of the dyno sheet when I changed hosting companies. But it did 756 on 33psi at a local mustang dyno that is known to show a little high compared to a dynojet. I would think realistically the car was doing around 700. Either way it was ridiculous for only 33psi, we stopped at that boost bc 1) I was going to need more spring in the 60 and 2)spark plug on cyl 3 kept getting pushed out of the head on higher boost. My cyl head at one time had a stripped plug and I helicoiled it which unfortunately didnt last under big boost. It has a time-sert in it now that withstands ~40psi on my 6262 just fine.
