I'm in the process of selling my IX and in hopes to make an easier sale i'm parting off a couple big things....starting with the trans.

I have 625 miles on this built Shep trans. It shifts like nothing other! I could not be happier with it. Here's exactly what was done to it...

New 1st gear synchro
New 2nd gear synchro
New 1-2 shift sleeve
New 3rd gear synchro
New 4th gear synchro
New 3-4 shift sleeve
New 5th gear synchro
New 5-R shift sleeve
New seals, shims, and snap rings
Reverse gear synchro
New input shaft bearing
New 3-4 fork

In addition...

NEW Evo 2nd gear
New 3-4 hub
New input shaft and 1st gear
New Evo 8 4th gear
4.11 final drive


I have $2785 into this trans plus a good core. It costs even more now since I got the final drive when it was on sale.

Looking to get $2900 SHIPPED (within the continental US) or $2200 plus your GOOD Evo IX stock trans.

What's your point? Ever consider my price w/ no core might be low? I paid $2800 for it and lets assume a stock core goes for $1200..that's $4k...selling for under $3k w/ only 600 miles on it.

If you have no interest, please just move along.

I own a shop in Horsham, PA. I did the install myself. Wish you had a IX trans. Buy mine then sell yours.

 

well im trying to find a shop that will do the swap for me because its all downtime when the trans is at shep...did you enjoy the trans money worth spending? worth it to get the 4.11 pm me if you dont want to keep clogging your fs thread....until then free bump again lol

I love my Shep Ultimate Ratio tranny, and now that I'm going to a bigger turbo, I wish I had got the 4.11 final drive.

I paid $3250 for mine, without the 4.11's. Free bump for a great price on a great tranny.

 

Absolutely LOVE Shep's trans and with the 4.11 final drive it's even better for a larger turbo car! Well worth the money I paid...would do it again if I needed.
