Yes it is the old style but not sure what is the advantage of the new version. To me a battery tray is a battery tray.

well i have their cdi so there new style is set up so you can mount the cdi box to the side of the battery tray.. ..

how long have you had this for ? since yur in vegas, hopefully you didnt have problems with cold starts lol

I have never had a problem with cold start.

Speaking of CDI I had one on the car and made a simple bracket to mount it. See pic it shows the CDI next to the battery.
