Early HKS 272 Cams (NC) ready to ship!!!
Sold!!!
Good Day! I have a set of the first HKS 272 cams for sale. I recently bought an Evo head, throttle body and intake manifold from a wrecked car as a core to send off and get ported and larger valves put in and these cams where part of the deal. Unfortunately the throttle body was damaged beyond using as a core for a 65mm so I am selling these cams so I can get another throttle body. I originally doubted them as HKS but when I got home I measured the lobes of a damaged HKS cam I had and they are exactly the same. I was also able to speak to the mechanic who installed these cams and he assured me they are HKS 272. For anyone who may not know, the HKS 272's do NOT require upgraded valve springs or retainers. You can put them in an otherwise stock head and run them with no problems. My first set of upgrade cams were HKS 272's and with the stock VIII turbo and other mods (exhaust, UICP, LICP etc) I was able to put down over 330whp on a Mustang dyno in VA. I will post pictures when I come back from work today. Asking $300 shipped but I'll entertain any reasonable offer.

Credit for the image goes to Martin @ AMS, thanks for all you do for the community and the incredible cam test you performed.

You are correct, the current ones do. I've had HKS cams installed on my Evo before. However the early HKS cams where made from a stock of cam blanks that HKS had available that did not have the HKS stamp on them. Rest assured these are HKS cams. Thanks for looking out for everyone though, I respect that you want to keep anyone from getting something that isn't what it's advertised.
