2.4L block, Manley long rod and 2.0L crank

Im selling a set of manley turbo tuff rods for a 2.1L, 2.0L crank thats in great shape and a 2.4L block needs to be bored .040 over thats it. You just need to get a set of 2.1L pistons and thats it. I'm looking to get $1500 shipped for everything and and most of the 2.1 kits ive seen cost around 3k all you have to do is buy a set of piston that cause $650 from wiseco.

All you need is a set of 2.1L .040 over piston and you'll be ready to run.

Wow this is a great deal. I will have to try and talk the wife into this. I will also need all the bearings also right? Why was this motor pulled out?

Yes you would need bearings but this is a great deal man. The reason i'm is because I ordered a set of 2.4L pistons and they weren't for a 2.1L. Then the cylinder walls have some blowby thats it and it needs to be bored but thats it.

I dont believe anyone makes .040 over pistons for a 2.4 block. that would be the equivalent of .100 over for a 2.0. The cylinder walls would be really thin between the cylinders. No savy engine builder will offer anything other than stock bore or .20 over for a 2.4..

sorry if this ruins your sale but I hate to see people make uneducated decisions. a .040 2.4 is not a good idea at all.
