just gonna go ahead and post my experience with this seller aswell as my paypal dispute with his response. for any future buyers.

# 8/2/2010 12:48 PDT - Seller: I will not refund You for breaking the product... I sold a totally working radiator and didn't leak when I had it removed fom car. Your pressure test probably damaged the core. Might be a cheap core off eBay idk... Take it to a radiator shop and repair it

# 8/2/2010 12:53 PDT - Seller: Buyer was aware the radiator was unknown brand and that's why be laid 100$ and not 300-600 like other shops sell these radiators for... Your pressure test might of blew the inner core and that isn't my problem. ASimple radiator shop are able to repair those matters and are quite cheap..

# 8/2/2010 13:29 PDT - Buyer: the value that i purchased the product for does not represent the condition i should have recieved it in and its working condition. RADIATOR SHOPS PEFORM A PRESSURE TEST ON ALL RADIATORS. they found that the radiator was already broken therefore you sold me a broken part (misrepresented item, fraud) do not try to mask your actions by comparing radiator prices and brand as this is not what is in dispute. what is in dispute is the fact that you sold me a product that is/was not as stated. it is a broken product which does not work. i have offered to ship you back the radiator at my expense, my offer still stands. you are held liable for selling/delivering incorrect products.

# 8/2/2010 13:35 PDT - Buyer: i informed the seller of this dispute prior to opening and he has stated he will not refund me any money whatsoever. This product was stated to as fully operation and with no leaks whatsoever. This item was taken to a professional radiator shop prior to installing it or using it for inspection of the product as it did not look like what the picture of the product depicted when buying. A visual inspection and testing it prior to installation deemed it as damaged prior to purchase, which holds the seller solely accountable for stating the product was in excellent condition and 100% leak proof; When in fact it was damage in his possession which he knowingly had to sell it and attempt to recoup some money. His actions would be considered fraudulent as he is knowingly selling products which are described in misleading condition and working state.

Sold a Working Mini radiator and told him it was "unknown" brand could of even been Ebay for all i know... Radiator came on my Evo Upon Purchase and had no leaks for 1 month of use. Removed it and tested it with water ( unpressurized and had no leaks) and no leaks when it was pressured on the car and FULL TEMP. Buyer Claims he had a "professional shop" pressure test/install radiator.... To my knowledge this "professional" could of clearly over pressured this unknown core and blew it causing it to leak... I shipped the radiator same as shown in photo so His argument of it not looking how it looks in the photo is clearly false statement.... Not like I shipped a even worse looking radiator... Photo I posted is what you received and I posted it was "USED"

Even though a "professional" shop installed and tested his radiator doesn't matter how Professional they are they clearly didn't something right and people make mistakes... He demands a refund and is claiming it leaks in his possession but 100% Fact it didn't in Mine so what happened there??? I Sold the item working and am not or should not be responsible for how other people install or what they do with it...

Same issue could be claimed with any Item... Stripping a bolt on a Item, ruining it and demanding a refund or buying a used Turbo... fully working no shaft play -- Member installs it runs high extreme boost for all i could know and blow it 3 days later... and just say they ran 20lbs and it broke... then demand a refund... clearly not gonna happen....

Check my Feed back.. For the Most part its all positive besides the one person who I DID refund for buying a Short Antenna that he claims he received in an empty envelope ( which was my mistake to even ship in an envelope years ago)

One Negative for a guy who purchased a 35R and paid with e check and demanded next day shipping but wouldn't allow e-check to clear.... clearly an idiot? He Could of canceled e check after I shipped turbo and kept the $ and turbo..... Shipping company Made error on his address aswell and they corrected it and he complained as if thats my fault it took 14 days to receive turbo

and one Negative from A guy who purchased injectors and then decided he didn't want them and shipped them back to me but demanded a refund before I had injectors back from shipping... sounded like a skam to me... so i waited to refund him a week cause it took a week to receive item...

Pretty clearly stated from plenty of members that I sell Great Quality Parts, QUICKLY, and all in Working Condition yet you bash me and negative rating me.... and looks as if you just joined evo m and have exactly 50 posts and 0 ratings... So its your word against mine.... and Im Not refunding you for the simple fact I know 100% it worked just fine before I shipped out the radiator.

no damaged to box at all during shipping. the radiator was visually inspected were they found a rather big hole on one of the tubes and so to confirm they performed a low pressure test.

Just because the box wasn't damaged doesn't mean they didn't throw the box around the truck regardless it worked before I shipped it and to just randomly have a hole after you recieved it doesn't make sense and you right away Jump and blame and accuse i sold a broken item... yet you had the radiator pressured first you told me before install, find a leak... Then clearly drained it and then visually inspected it to find a big hole on the tube. Not as you claim now you randomly inspected item and found a hole before you filled it with any fluid... Come on man clearly the pressure test broke it cause it's a cheap core which I warned you I didn't know what it was possibly eBay one modified

the only thing in the box was Styrofoam. on all sides! with no dents or punctures through the box, so it was packaged well i will give you that. have you ever been to a rad shop? this is the procedure they use. they visually inspect then pressure test. in this case they visually inspected it immediately called me. i came down around noon. looked at it and thought well he wouldn't sell me something with a leak as i was very adamant about not buying it if it was leaking. so i said well maybe its nothing. is there anything we can do to check it. the said we will just continue with our procedure and tested it at 1psi and the dyed water came out like nothing....at this point i tried to contact you to ask you about it and inform you of this. let it be known this was not even opened till it got to the shop nor installed on my car... you immediately blamed the issue on me stating that i mishandled or installed it incorrectly then i informed you that it wasn't even installed yet. it was at the shop "getting handled by professionals" which handle these things day in day out. and then you proceeded to say oh well u only paid xx so u should just go pay xx to get it fixed. which is clearly the wrong way to handle a situation. so to say you buy an evo from me which i say is in 100% working order for $10,000 and retail is $20,000 but then you have a shop inspect the car before you even drive it and they immediately tell you the block is cracked. (does that seem fair to you) I am not out to screw you just trying to handle this fairly and what you have done or lack there of to resolve the situation amicably has left me wanting to warn others of your business practices... that is all i have to say about the situation. overall i lost $100 trusting a stranger and since you keep referencing retail pricing to what i paid for a non working item, i guess what you were trying to really drive home is that you pay for what you get.

I am very sorry this deal went sour and we were unable to resolve it. i truly hope that you don't have to experience this yourself in the future
