I got an evo 8 head for sale, it is a bare head. All the threads look crispy clean, including the studs.
I checked it with a level (as a straight edge) and a feeler gauge. I used the smallest one which goes down to .102mm and it checked out fine. Of course this is not the professional way of checking it, but I can sleep much better now.
I can ship it anywhere in the US with some stock cams for $500
or $450 without the cams
