Alright guys, as some have seen, i have been parting my car. Its now time to sell the big peices. One of the main peices, would be my MAP built, stage 2 shortblock. This block was built to take anything i threw at it, no expenses spared here. When i was doing my build i told adam@map that i wanted top shelf stuff, and this is what came of it. It has the following:

-Map 4g64 with stock crank
-Wiesco 1400HD 87mm pistons 9.7:1
-MAP Ultimate Duty Connecting rods
-ACL Race series Bearings
-King Thrust Washers
-New Front Case(OEM Oil pump+gasket)
-Balance shaft delete kit
-MAP ultimate duty head studs
-NEW OEM oil pan
-NEW OEM water pump with adaptor plate
(Mivec oil line can be throw in if your putting this on an evo9)

Everything together, all in all is a $4000 dollar motor. This motor is a BEAST to say the least. I put it in my car, drove it for 1700 miles, and decided its time for something new. I have had my evo for a long time, and its time to move up in the world. The motor has no issues. Never a peice of metal or anything All cylinder walls still show the cross hatching, no scores, smooth as glass!

Off boost response is incredible. The car actually wants to move! Spool up is just scary, on my 62mm i had 25psi by 4300rpm. A monster street car. Motor was never revved over 8k rpm. Oil was changed after start up, ran to temp and shut down. At 100 miles, 250 miles, 500 miles, 1000 miles and 1500 miles. (Yes i know, unneeded but it made me feel better. A couple dollars in oil for the motor to be healthy was cool with me!!) Amsoil full synthetic was ran in the motor after 500 miles. first few were crap oil to get the rings to seat perfectly.

Im looking for $3100 OBO. Shipping can be negotiated. Really, its gonna be around $200-250 but i can work on that with a buyer. A local buyer, will get a GOOD deal because it will save me from dealing with shipping. Any questions, feel free to post, or PM me.
