SAS hardware
SAS hardware
I have all the hardware needed minus the UICP, but you can have a 20mm bung welded onto the USDM one and it's identical. This comes with a megan manifold that I had ceramic coated. It is a very quality finish.
I'm asking $220 shipped.

bigturboevo03, SAS is a feature that was on EDM and JDM evos to achieve homologation for the Group N rally cars. With a retard on the timing it opens the exhaust valves during combustion so the extremely hot air is sent into the turbo when the clutch is in to keep it spun up, making the car constantly under boost. The SAS hardware acts similarly to a recirc valve, but sending air to the manifold instead. It's used in open class rally cars here in the states. This is my dumbed down explanation because I only grasp it on a basic level.
Be warned, SAS is hard on the turbo and manifold and you need to be either very good at tuning or know someone that can tune this. I was going to use it on an open class evo, but decided to build a super production class car instead where this is not allowed.
