A shop in NC, Powell Motorsports. He does a lot of work for nascar and other racing venues. Work is absolutely impeccable.

When I took the head off I saw cylinder 2 had a small amount of damage on top of piston. Cylinder 2 wall has no damage and can still see crosshatch marks.

Hi, does this affect performance and reliability? can that piston be replace ?

thx

No it doesnt affect performance at all. The piston could be replaced but it shouldnt have to be. I would say worst case scenario polished.
