FS:Evo 8 2.3 stroker short block
out of curiosity, you said this motor lasted 2 years with that twin scroll setup making 750whp/650ft-lb and it looks like you were shifting at 8500rpm from the dyno chart?how many miles or runs was that over 2 years?just trying to make sure i am reading everything correctly.
i would say those guys at E-Spec build a hell of a motor judging from these 2 threads.
shoot me your best price shipped for short block and head only if you will split like that?
also are you OK with me buying it contingent upon inspection?

I believe shipping should be between $125-150, right?
I have been made aware of through a reputable vendor after discussing H-beams with Manley, that 500whp is the "comfortable" threshold for the rods. Obviously, this is when trying to extract the highest amount of torque possible as early in the powerband during tuning.
Sorry for the mini hijack of the thread.

For all who wonder:
The seller is a good guy. I bought my Evo 9 motor out of their shop, it was as described and the guys had absolutely no problem helping me set it up for a compression test and to check it over.
I got my motor home and decided I was going to build it. Upon disassembly the motor was in just as pristine condition as described.
