Just curious if you are willing to take these lines back since they aren't Techna Fit?

Honestly, no. First, why wouldn't you check the pictures of something you buy? That is not my fault at all. Second, you have done nothing but say that you don't believe they are TF over and over and blame MAP for sending the wrong stuff in an my open sale thread. I see a few problems with that. You have no backing other than what you believe. They were sold to you in the sealed package I received directly from MAP. I am going to put my money on the company that I have been doing business for awhile now over one guy on a forum, not saying you aren't knowledgable or anything about you personally. I am trying to get one of the guys from MAP to step in here but I am sure you already spoke to them and if not why wouldn't you ask them about your concerns?

Last thing I have a problem with is the fact anyone that is reading this or interested in it sees you stating these aren't authentic will really want to jump all over them right?

From what I see on the TF page:
http://www.techna-fit.com/brakekits.html

Mine look identical:

The part number is there to see and the product looks pretty visible to me. Looks like MIT 1020. What does the part number on the site say they are:
http://www.maperformance.com/techna-...l#.UaPhhyuMG7M

MIT 1020 right?

I'm curious as to a) What kind of explanation is warranted here. Offered up in front of you is definitive evidence of a) receipt of purchase, a picture of a bag that is sealed from the factory with a part number matching the part number of the purchased item from the manufacturer's website WITH pictures on the said website showing the same item. This seems pretty case closed. THAT is a sealed package of technafit lines, directly untouched as the arrive to us...WHICH, I might add...are very high quality lines, for the money. NOW one CAN also purchase colored lines, so this might be adding to the confusion...that is something that is offered from Tehcnafit, however due to the budget consideration of this package deal and the frequency at which customers request different colors, we use the uncolored/coated/ETC lines for our packages...same Technafit quality...from Technafit, packaged from them as well and shipped to you.

HOPEfully that puts this issue to bed...or at least any confusion causing anyone to believe that they received something not as advertised.

Thanks everyone! PS...Happy Memorial Day!

if something was sold as a certain part and wasn't, then i think that's on the seller, not the buyer.

not that it matters now, anyway. when i searched the part number i saw the same ads you guys linked. i read this:
"For added protection against abrasion and corrosion, all of our hoses are available in a variety of colors of PVC outer cover."
all the ads/pictures/etc i found online showed the PVC cover which the ones you sold me didn't have. i assumed that meant they were a different brand. thanks to maperformance, i've been proven wrong. that's why i asked if anyone could confirm they come in bare metal, which maperformance did. thanks for that guys, by the way. huge help.

like i said: i'm not blaming you (op) for anything. i just didn't want to pay for the wrong item. it wasn't anything personal, just business. if i honestly thought you were trying to be shady, i would have given you poor feedback on EvoM. i haven't given any until all this was situated. now i can feel confident in giving you a +1 as a seller.

sorry if i came across as accusing. i didn't think any of my posts were that way at all.
