Have a walbro 400 (not e85 version) and sending unit for sell. Ended up going to a double pumper. has between 2-3k miles on it. Ready to drop in. $130 shipped.

 

What's the difference between this and the e85 version?

 

walbro didn't specifically say this was e85 safe. They bought out an e85 version shortly afterwards. Alot of people ran this with e85 before the new version came out. Perfect if you dont want to run e85 and I think most people didnt have problems with it on e85 as well.

dont try to down play the failures of this pump for you gain... if this pump was used in a car with E85 it failed... didn't matter if it was a month a week or a year... it failed...

that being said its an amazing pump with no flaws itself... chemistry/physics wins when using it with ethanol is all...

 

Thanks for the bump! Plenty of people have used it with e85. Some have problems some have put a lot of miles on it, up to the buyer if they want to try it or not. My perfect for pump comment and pointing out it isn't the e85 version up front shows I'm not out for personal gain. Again thanks for the bump.
