I have a tactrix 1.3U cable that I bought recently from tscomptuned. Never had the chance to use it just sits in my desk. $120 shipped takes it.

I bought the software aswell and have a serial # I never registered or anything. Not sure if you can use it to register but I'll give it to you either way.

Mine was $167 for everything, software and shipping included, from evoscan.com.

 

pretty good deal, considering it's a non-wear item. i kinda need one.. considering. i'm pretty cheap but tired of borrowing my friends. LOL. seems we always need to make changes at the same time.

 

My only bit of advice for someone buying one used would be to get a picture of the pins and make sure they match what you need.

Update/edit: all lancers/ evos 4-9 use the same pin configuration, so as long as the cable was last used on one of those, and not, say, a Subaru, you should be fine.

I thought pin 9 was for Subaru only. for my Evo, I had to remove it.

 

You're right, I just checked the evoscan website again. Pin9 is used by subbies, and removed for evos.

 

sounds right. if you get a Subbie cable, remove pin 9 and bam! done.
